REPRESENTATIVE PAYEE
If a person with a disability needs assistance with managing a budget and maintaining eligibility for Social Security benefits, the Colorado Fund for People with Disabilities can help. CFPD has been approved as an Organizational Representative Payee by the Social Security Administration. CFPD can receive benefit payments on behalf of beneficiaries; deposit those funds into a special account; and disburse them based on a personal budget created with the beneficiary and his or her support team. CFPD Representative Payee staff can help distribute funds as needed for:
- Daily Living Expenses
- Personal Spending Money
- Routine Bills
